About the Fun Run

Montgomery’s annual Fun Run is a peer-to-peer fundraiser that engages friends, families, and
colleagues to benefit the school, while promoting fitness and character for our kids. Fun
Run contributions enable the PTO’s support of teachers and students and benefit the
Mustang Endowment, which funds capital and long-term investments for the school.
Projects are evaluated on an annual basis and funded as resources are available.

In recent years, Fun Run donations have provided:

  • In-house High Touch High Tech Programs for grades K-5 

  • Atlanta History Center Social Studies Traveling Trunks

  • Educational Resources for all grade levels, classrooms, and specials

  • Additional musical instruments

  • Author and illustrator school visits

  • STEM night, Fine Arts Night, parent events

  • Campus Beautification

  • Teacher Appreciation events 

  • Principal – Teacher trainings
