After-School Options

After School Extended Day Program (ASEDP)

Montgomery Elementary offers an After School Extended Day Program (ASEDP) on school days during the regular school year. The program provides affordable, quality childcare for Pre-K through 5th graders presently enrolled at Montgomery and includes time for homework, outdoor activities, and enrichment. 

New families may complete the ASEDP Interest Form if you have an interest in the MES after school program for the 2026-27 school year. Note that this is NOT a guarantee of enrollment, but an interest form to fill any available spaces we may have in the program.

Please note that there is no guarantee of new spaces available at the beginning of the school year! We are limited to the number of students that we can accept based on the number of teachers and other staff members who are willing to work the after-school program and the number of returning students from the previous school year. Teachers and other staff members are paid a supplemental income for working the program after their contracted hours. Since this is not a required role, we can only rely on those who are looking for additional income, which limits the students we can enroll.

ASEDP Waitlist

When there are available spots for a particular grade level, we will fill openings through a waitlist process. We will use the date and time the interest form was completed to create a waitlist. When capacity is reached, we will maintain the waitlist to add additional students as spots become available.
